Thoi – Hairstylist/Nail Technician
Thoi graduated from the IBA School of Cosmetology in 1986. After she graduated, she was employed at Fantastic Sam’s for a few years. She developed her reputation and career as a wonderful hairstylist at Mr. Dino’s in the Downtown Grand Avenue mall. After 10 years at Grand Avenue mall, Thoi decided to follow her dreams and open up a salon of her own. She has been a truly successful cosmetologist for over 20 years. Here at Salon Today, she is very particular in her work whether it be hair, nails, or waxing. However, not only is she particular but she also loves her job as a cosmetologist.
Mark – Hairstylist/Barber
Mark graduated with his cosmetology license at MATC. After graduation, he was a barber at Westbrook Stylist for about a year and a half. Then he continued his career at Mr. Dino’s in Grand Avenue Mall downtown for 16 years. After 6 years at Mr. Dino’s, he met Thoi where they became very close colleagues for ten years. Ten years later, he moved to Salon Today to continue working side by side with Thoi. Mark is always going that extra step for his customers. He always gives them the quality time they deserve, and he enjoys working with people. Mark has a natural talent of turning his customers into friendships with a refreshing conversation at every visit.
Khanh/Ken – Nail Technician
Ken graduated from International Cosmetology Academy in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1999. After he graduated as a nail technician, he began working at Salon Today. He has been a dedicated nail technician at Salon Today for 10 years.
Bob – Nail Technician
Bob graduated from Madison Nail Tech Academy in 2003. Afterward, he began his career as a nail technician at Nail Art located in Mayfair Mall. He was employed at Nail Art for 5 years. He just began working for Salon Today this year. He is an extremely friendly, and he is extremely talented in his field of work.
